Tempe Tyre and Wheel Centre announced as a finalist at NESA's 2016 Champion Employer of the Year award

Tempe Tyre and Wheel Centre was announced as a finalist at the NESA's Champion Employer of the Year award for 2016, which was acknowledged at NESA's 2016 National Employment Services Awards for Excellence dinner in Melbourne on 2 August 2016.

Tempe Tyre and Wheel Centre achieved this national recognition for its commitment to helping local unemployed people find meaningful employment.

More than twelve (12) job seekers have been employed by the company in their retail and warehouse operations. Many of these job seekers tried for month's even years to get a good job but were unsuccessful. Tempe Tyre and Wheel Centre gave them a go and as a result changed their lives.

John Jocys, the companies Human Resource Manager, said "we are truly honoured and proud of our achievements. "We even put together a training program involving the NSW Department of Education and a private training company, to deliver formal training on Customer Service, Workplace Safety, Communications etc, which prepared job seekers to work with us and provide customer service excellence."
