PZero Rosso Direzionale is designed to offer enhanced hydroplaning resistance and is primarily for use on the lighter load carrying front axle positions of mid-engine and rear-engine rear-wheel drive cars. It delivers excellent performance and handling. Increasingly stringent laws targeting acoustic pollution have led Pirelli to release the PZero Rosso Direzionale which delivers reduced noise levels to improve comfort. The tyre gives excellent grip levels, improved cornering and straight-line ability. The name is derived from the "P-Zero" milestone tyre, and "Rosso" which means 'red' in Italian, commonly associated with motorsport. Thus it means there is ultra-high performance in this tyre. It has achieved more than 200 original equipment homologations from leading manufacturers on top performance vehicles.
