Springs here which means summer's just around the corner. We all love summer, its the time most hot street machines that have been hibernating in the winter months come back out and, at Tempe, its the time we release the latest and greatest wheels to hit the scene in Oz! Last year it was the ever so popular Incubus Paranormal and before that it was the classic Gestalt Virouge line of wheels.

 Construction Update - Tuesday, 22nd July 2008
The basement and groundfloor concrete has been laid, today was time for the Pre-Fabricated panels to go up. The project is slowly taking shape and we'll have some more pics for you once the next stage is completed.

 Roy Asotasi Drops in - Tuesday, 18th March 2008
NRL stars must love their wheels, and we love looking after them. Hot on the heels of Dragons Matt Cooper and Dean Young and Bulldogs superstar Sonny Bill Williams dropping in, South Sydney Rabbitohs captain Roy Asotasi swung by to say hi and sus out some wheels for his ride. The new 24" Diablo G-Force caught his eye but our brave sales rep had to tell him they don't come in 20" for his ride. The gentle giant took it in his stride and chose the ever popular HP Design in shadow chrome instead.

 Sonny Bill Williams!! - Wednesday, 5th March 2008
This superstar needs no introduction. He burst onto the Rugby League scene a few years ago and took the game by storm. He has become one of the most recognisable and marketable elite athlete in Australia. His exploits on the field have not only made him a favourite with Bulldogs supporters but amongst Rugby league followers in general. I'm talking ofcourse about Canterbury Bulldogs and New Zealand Kiwis Rugby league Superstar Sonny Bill Williams. We're glad to call him a friend and wish him luck in the season ahead.

 Construction Begins - Thursday, 21st February 2008
The roof is off, the labourers are sweating and the bulldozers are in! Construction on Tempe Tyres new state of the art showroom has begun. We'll keep you updated with pictures and how the works going. At this stage construction will take approximately 6 months. The new showroom will showcase our entire range of wheels (right now we can only showcase about 50% of our stock). Finding the right choice for your car will never be easier. Display cars and Plasma screens will all be part of the new building which was modeled after contemporary and futuristic buildings in Dubai. Buying wheels will no longer be a choice, it will be an experience!

 When the Saints go marching in... - Tuesday, 19th February 2008
St George Illawarra Dragons Matt Cooper and Dean Young both came in to slap some new wheels on their rides. Dean Young chose the stunning new Dolce DC-20 in 22" while Matt went with the 20" ultra-classy looking Kspeed Biaggi in the machined gold finish for his Subaru WRX.  Forgiato Vizzio on VE Clubsport....Smooth Criminal - Friday, 18th January 2008
We all agree the new Holden VE HSV line of vehicles are real head turners. The Clubsport and GTS stand out from the crowd..The only down side is fiiting wheels to them..Although the big red brakes look awesome they make fiiting wheels to them a pain. Not much on the market clears the calipers..

 Another Ferrari Bites the Dust!! - Friday, 11st January 2008
If you're into the modified car scene you know all about Queen St Smash Repairs and there outrageous Ferrari 360Modena. To say that this car is customised and modified just doesnt do it justice.
House of Colour Brandy wine, with matching re-trimmed hot red interior, adjustable suspension all make this Ferrari a very unique ride. What makes this Ferrari legendary though is it's engine. Twin turbo charged, yep thats correct folkes, candy sprayed, a twin-turbo charged Ferrari.
The only thing that was missing was a decent set of shoes. The old D'vinci Blade's just didnt cut it on this machine. They required shaving, spacers, brake alteration..Definately a no no on this project. And while black wheels look great on the right vehicle, the house of colour brandy wine needed a splash of chrome to liven things up. Mohammed and the boys from Queen Street Smash finally saw the light and left it in our hand to choose a set of wheels that delivered looks and performance.
Our choice was easy: Asanti AF211. Custom made. Custom sprayed. Straight fit. No spacers, no mucking around. Out with the old black wheels that dulled the car and in the the new Asanti's that gave this already sexy cruiser a major face lift.
We think it's one of the best we've done..We'll let the pictures say the rest!

This shot was taken at Custom Bodyworks in Sydneys west. It was meant to be under wraps but here's an exclusive tempetyres.com.au scoop ;) The custom candy blue is unique and a contrast to many other colours which have been done to death. Even though the paint work is mint, interior stunning and engine work outrageous, the most eyecatching component has gotta be the wheels. Sporting the All New Line of Forgiato Wheels with 20" fronts and 22" rears in the satin silver with chrome lip. No spacers or half jobs on this one folkes, the wheels were a 4 week order and are tailor made to suit the vehicle to the millimetre.  Fui Fui Moi Moi Drops By.. - Tuesday, 27th November 2007
Last Week we pimped Penrith Panther's Ford Territory with a set of 22" Lexani Ice. His flat mate, Parramatta Eels bulldozer Fui Fui Moi Moi, saw it and liked it so much he wanted the same wheel. Frank wouldn't have a bar of it so he came down with Fui to make sure he chose something diiferent. He ended up choosing the Lexani Fire in 22". He's a shy kind of guy but we finally got him to smile for this snap shot!

 Marrickville council approval for construction Part B. - Saturday, 27th October 2007
Marrickville council has approved the second stage of construction at the Tempe Tyres head office in Tempe. Business will go on as normal during construction and their are some measures which will be implemented during construction ,eg longer trading hours and a night shift will also be working to get all interstate orders out on time. A master plan of the site will be uploaded ASAP. Construction of this groundbreaking project will commence late Jan 2008.

Two wheel awards were up for grabs at AutoSalon Final battle and it's no surprise Tempe claimed both awards!! John's Chrysler 300C claimed top judged rims with his 24" Asanti AF 211, worth a cool 15K (And yes we have the trophy to prove it!)
Alberts 'REXC' WRX also claimed Best wheel innovation. His 20" Audi A8 wheels (yes, Audi wheels on a subaru) were colour coded to match his paint and interior..
